We got a Sheepadoodle
or “You got a what?”
Once upon a time in a world very different from our own, I decided it was time to get a dog. This wouldn’t be just any dog, oh no, it would be THE dog. The best dog ever. I would search high and low, far and wide and I would locate the perfect dog to be my new best buddy.
In late 2019, I started looking for a new dog to join our family. All of our previous pets had joined our family by accident. Our first family dog was abandoned on our doorstep. Charlie was a fantastic mess that we loved for over 17 years. Our cat showed up not long after our dog and I was dead set against having a cat. My wife decided to call the cat Grey Kitty because we knew she would wander off soon. 18 years later we had to finally say goodbye.
We were heartbroken and went to a shelter the day after we lost Charlie and picked out an abandoned boxer to join our family. This was to be our son’s new dog and I decided I wanted a dog of my own. I did what I always do, I got on the internet, I researched and read and figured out exactly what criteria I had for a new dog then used a dog research tool similar to the one located over on Rover.com to help me narrow down the choices.
We got a Sheepadoodle! Also known as a SheepaPoo.
